Classically trained, internationally published, mixed media artist Judith Kuegler will be opening up her home studio to offer a selection of classes for children this spring. Judith’s unique experience includes teaching children of varying ages and abilities in the United Kingdom, New Guinea, Germany and the United States. Judith also has a solid background instructing children with
special needs.
Class sizes are limited to a maximum of four students to balance the best of individual instruction with the benefits of group learning. We only use high quality materials and tools in an effort to support each child’s vision and creative process, providing the child the best possible educational and artistic experience. Lessons are tailored to each child’s age and experience.
The courses are eight 1½ hour classes, once a week, over the course of nine weeks. At the end of the sessions there will be a combined formal exhibit for friends and family to attend.
Cost
The cost for each series is $120 per 8 class session plus a $30 fee for materials ($150 total) including pencils, pens, inks, art papers, paints, brushes, canvasses, panels, work folders and material organizers . Students keep their materials once the course is over.
Sibling discounts (20% excluding materials) and gift certificates available. Students enrolled in more than one class (in either Session I or II) receive a 10% discount on the second class, and a 20% discount on the third class (materials charges are not discounted).
Fees are due at time of registration.
Classes will be held in Ridgewood, East Durham. Parents are welcome to stay for the duration of the class and accompany the class on plein air sessions.
